Series: Transforming Primary QTS
     
A series of core texts for trainee primary school teachers focused on key aspects of learning and teaching in the primary curriculum. The changing landscape of primary teaching requires trainee teachers to consider learning and teaching in new ways. This new series takes a fresh approach to supporting trainees as they work towards primary QTS. Titles cover the core areas of the primary curriculum, including professional studies, and provide fully up to date resources focused on teaching a more integrated and inclusive curriculum.Texts draw out explicit cross curricular links and examine how ICT, literacy and numeracy can be embedded effectively in the curriculum. Alice Hansen

Alice Hansen worked in Initial Teacher Education for 13 years at the University of Cumbria. Prior to that she taught extensively in primary schools in England and abroad. She is now an educational consultant who works within a number of educational settings and national bodies developing continuing professional development for teachers in mathematics education and the new Primary Curriculum.
